Hand Dyed 50% Fine Silk/50% ExtraFine Merino Wool Tie
Perfect tie for your Saint Patty's Day event!
Made from yarn that was hand dyed by me featuring colors a full range of complementary blues and greens. In some lights this will appear more yellow green others a more moderate spring green. In dyeing this yarn i was going for a spring green with flecks of blue. You will even see undercurrents of yellowish greens in some parts. The end result is that you will have a tie no one else will have as only 3 will be made and only 2 will be sold.
Silk is difficult to dye and much care has been taken to ensure that this tie has full color brightness and variation.
I use strong but lightweight four ply yarn for longevity.
Ideal fit for manly men & modern women alike.
A very slight curl at the tip is part of the nature of the stitch. I find many customers prefer to wear them with a vest, sweater, sport coat or blazer which helps the ties hold their shape.
Tie Size: 56" x 1.5", 142cm x 4cm.
Each tie is of exceptional quality and will last many years. Each and every stitch is even and perfect.
Cleaning and Care:
Dry Clean or
Handwash in tepid water.
You may use a no-rinse wool wash such as SOAK WASH.
Reshape and lay flat over a towel to dry.
Please note, as with all silk special care must be taken in hand-washing, some color in the water is normal but special care must be taken to avoid excessive color loss.
DO NOT machine wash or dry.
DO NOT IRON.
